This book teaches you about pieces of history it is based off real-life events in world war 2. It is always interesting to read books that are based on a true story. I connect to this story because I have always love reading books that are based upon true event.
Part 3:
This book is based during world war 2 and tells the story of a bear Veoytek that is adopted by a group of polish soldier in Iran. They eventually enlist him as a solider that way they can make sure he stays with the company. He travels to Iran, Italy, and then on to Scotland. He causes mischief and learns a lot along the way. The theme of this book how they receive the love of this bear during a hard time.

2) Do you think the Veoytek was a nice companion to have during these rough times.
One activity could be to label a map of everywhere the bear traveled
Another activity could be to talk about a time when a friend was there for you during a sad time or and something, they have for example a stuff animal that cheers them up when they are sad.
